People Are Just Realising Every IPhone Has A Game-changing Photo App Hack

YOU could be wasting space on your iPhone unnecessarily.

Needless to say, iPhone storage is extremely valuable – so it’s important not to waste it.

A top tip is to use Apple’s Photos app feature to remove duplicate images.

This will automatically detect duplicate photos and let you remove them.

It’s a new feature only made available in iOS 16.

So first go to Settings > General > Software update and make sure you are using the latest iOS version.

It is very likely that you have a number of duplicate images in your camera roll.

But tracking it down manually would take ages, so let your iPhone do it for you.

To find them, first open the Apple Photos app.

Then go to Albums below and then scroll down until you see Duplicates below.

This is a special folder where you can check all duplicate media.

You can check each one and tap Merge to delete duplicate images or videos.

It’s also possible to do a bulk merge by tapping Select at the top, then Select All, then tapping Merge.

Unsupported iPhones

Unfortunately, it’s possible that you won’t be able to update to iOS 16 and access this feature.

If you can upgrade to iOS 16, you’re fine, but anyone with a very old iPhone model will miss out.

If you can’t get the latest iOS, you’ll lose access to the latest security fixes.

These are critical patches that close vulnerabilities used by hackers to gain access to your systems.

So using a very old iPhone that cannot be updated could put you at risk.

If you can’t update to iOS 16, you’d better update your iPhone sooner rather than later.
