Suriya, who was recently in Mumbai, met cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar. The actor took to his Instagram handle and shared a picture with the legend that is currently going viral across the internet. The duo pose for the camera with a smile.
Suriya shared the photo with Sachin on his Instagram page and wrote: “Respect & Love!! @sachintendulkar.”Fans responded to the image with lots of heart and fire emojis in the comments.
A video of Suriya out of the gym as he works out has surfaced on social media and is going viral. The actor is reportedly sweating it all and building up for Suriya42. In the video, he can be seen doing pull-ups and showing off his biceps. Bollywood actress Disha Patani is the female lead in the film. Suriya, the lead actor, is set to play a warrior in the film, which will be shot in 3D format. The film will reportedly consist of two parts and Devi Sri Prasad is the music composer.

After completing Suriya 42, he will begin work on director Vetri Maaran’s Vaadi Vaasal. It was recently reported that Vaadivaasal has been deferred for unknown reasons. But producer Kalipuli S Thanu has debunked the rumors and asked everyone not to spread such things. “These are unfounded rumours. People seem to spread messages like this for their 10 Minute Fame. I ask the fans not to believe this news. The film is still ongoing and pre-production work is currently underway,” Kalaipuli Thanu told India Today.
The film is an adaptation of the Tamil novel of the same name. The film is set against the backdrop of Jallikattu, the ancient sport in Tamil Nadu which involves catching a bull. The background tracks for the film are composed by GV Prakash.
Suriya renounced director Bala’s film Vanangan. The director shared a statement, announcing that it was mutually decided that it was in the best interests of everyone involved that he should withdraw from the project.
