The boy from Bengaluru also stated in the December 30, 2022 letter that he will remember the Prime Minister’s mother in his prayers. A BJP leader posted both letters on her social media handle, showering Prime Minister Narendra Modi with praise. The caption for the viral tweet read: “This is the quality of a true statesman! The little boy from Bengaluru wrote: “I was very sad to see on TV that your beloved mother Smt Heera Ben passed away today. Please accept my heartfelt condolences. I pray that her soul will rest at the noble feet of Almighty God.”
Prime Minister Narendra Modi responded to the heartfelt letter, writing: “My gratitude for your heartfelt condolences on the death of my mother. My mother’s death is an irreparable loss and the pain is indescribable. Thank you for keeping me in your thoughts and prayers.”
