BENGALURU: Recently, companies have shown great interest in IT security, as a study by ManageEngine, Zoho Corporation’s enterprise IT management division, shows that 91% of respondents agree that artificial intelligence (AI) and machine Learning (ML) will play a significant role in strengthening their organization’s IT security framework in the near future.
The company has received many cybersecurity inquiries, said Shailesh Davey, co-founder and vice president of engineering at Zoho. The IT at Work: 2022 and Beyond study surveyed 3,300 decision makers from IT and other key business functions in organizations in 18 countries, including India. According to the study, 98% of all business decision makers have invested in AI and ML and are doing so on average for more than one use case. Automation is the most common use case at 64%, followed by cyber-attack prevention at 59%.
85% of ITDMs (IT decision-makers) surveyed agree that organizations’ existing security landscapes need to change to protect against cyberattacks. “Our primary goal with this study was to shed light on the current state of ITDMs and the need for IT democratization and empowerment for today’s well-connected organization,” said Davey.
