Rush weapon balance changes with AK-47, Koshka, QQ9 and more

Call of Duty Mobile (COD Mobile) Season 3: Rush is just days away and players remain excited for the upcoming patch update. Like previous iterations, the Season 3 update will bring many gameplay changes to COD Mobile, including nerfs and buffs to multiple weapons. Activision recently unveiled key optimizations that players will experience in just a few days with the launch of Season 3: Rush.

In the next Call of Duty Mobile Season, weapons like the AK-47, Koshka, and QQ9 will get a buff, while the scorestreak (multiplayer mode) “HIVE” will be significantly nerfed.

Below are the critical weapon balance changes that Activision will introduce to Call of Duty Mobile with the Season 3: Rush update, scheduled for release in the last week of March 2023:

buffs

AK-47 (assault rifle)

Developers have increased reload speed. They also upscaled the ADS movement speed for AK-47.

Koshka (sniper rifle)

The developers have increased the rate of fire for Koshka. The recoil of the popular sniper rifle has been reduced.

QQ9 (submachine gun)

QQ9 receives an increase in “Damage” attributes. The damage multiplier has also been increased.

Outlaw (Sniper Rifle)

The developers have increased the damage range of the weapon. The damage multiplier also gets an upgrade.

LK24 (assault rifle)

The developers have increased the ability to deal damage. LK24 is another weapon that is getting a damage multiplier increase.

AGR 556 (submachine gun)

AGR 556 will see a reduction in its recoil.

Peacekeeper MK2 (Assault Rifle)

Developers reduce the spread of ADS shells. Hit twitch is also reduced with the Season 3 update. nerfs

BEEHIVE

The popular Scorestreak is getting an overtime until it goes into effect. Developers are also increasing the visibility of the effects of HIVE adjustments (exclusive to Battle Royale).

Shotguns are overpowered in Call of Duty Mobile, especially in the Battle Royale mode. Activision has decided to make an adjustment to the damage stats for the following shotguns in BR mode:

However, the real impact of the adjustments will be revealed with the release of the next COD Mobile update.

Along with all the in-game weapon balance changes, Activision has also introduced a new weapon expansion in Call of Duty Mobile Season 3: Rush. Players will welcome a brand new sniper rifle called HDR from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (2019) and Call of Duty: Warzone.

The HDR is free on Tier 21 of the COD Mobile Season 3 Battle Pass. At the same time, Activision has also promised to release two weapon blueprints – HDR – Persuasion (Legendary Blueprint) and HDR – Iridescent Lines (Battle Pass Epic Blueprint) – in Season 3.
