Pixel may not have a 10x periscope, but the quality of photos at 10x zoom is the same as 10x optical zoom on s22u, which has proven itself in many tests.
Pixel doesn’t have DeX, but it does have its own Google ecosystem, which makes transferring data and communicating between devices a breeze.

So why are we paying over $1300 for a smartphone and not even getting a feature that future-proofs us!

It benefits me when transferring files/backups between my smartphone and an external fast SSD that connects to the WiFi 7 router.
Samsung is asking people to pay a premium price for the Ultra while not even bringing the latest technology with them. This upsets a lot of people, including me. You pay more than $1300 to expect the latest and greatest smartphone isn’t like $500 phones! That’s unacceptable from a big company like Samsung.

Microsd card on the Ultra why can’t they return that across the full range. And a 3.5mm jack or a second USB-C port so you can listen and charge at the same time.

While I agree with everyone’s frustration, I don’t get the point about Wifi 7
Even if there’s 5 years of Android and 7 years of security updates (which is a very generous estimate), that’s enough until 2030; Wifi 6 was released in 2019 and still isn’t that widespread or important for 99% of users. The fact that there is no affordable Wifi 7 router on the market and that it won’t matter at all for several years is beyond my understanding.

And here I thought the Red Magic 8 Pro (global) would be the second phone to support WiFi 7 after the S23+/ultra. Turns out it’s the only WiFi 7 TRUE flagship of the year!
I wonder why people even think about this rip off when they can buy this phone that comes with the latest technological advances and it’s still cheaper than the Samsung base phone!

These renders of the phone remind me of the Google Pixel 4.
Anyway, I can just pick up a used S22 Ultra instead.

This is a selection from Samsung. Nothing to do with SoC.
Snapdragon variants had the same problems.

I still have a P30 Pro that I will probably replace this year. I’m not an environmentalist. But replacing a phone after 12 to 18 months is a waste of resources

People who bought any of the S22 phones with Exynos will regret it now that the S23s come with Snapdragon
Unfortunately I’m one of the people who bought an S22+ in September before we got any leaks about it
If I had known, I would have waited until next year
Let’s just hope the S24 comes with Snapdragon too so I can snag this, I can’t really justify an upgrade after 1 year
