In June this year, Samsung launched an integrated wallet app for Galaxy users. By combining Samsung Pass and Samsung Pay into a single package, it serves as a one-stop shop for all of the company’s digital items and services. After initially launching in a handful of markets, the Korean company released the app in 13 additional countries today. Samsung Wallet is now available for Galaxy users in Bahrain, Denmark, Finland, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Norway, Oman, Qatar, South Africa, Sweden, Switzerland, Vietnam and UAE.
At launch, Samsung Wallet was available in France, Germany, Italy, Spain, South Korea, the UK and the US. Samsung also rolled out the app in China shortly after. With the latest expansion, the total number of supported countries has now reached 21. You can expect the company to release the new wallet app to more markets in the coming months.
If you live in one of the above 21 countries and use a compatible Galaxy smartphone, you should be able to download the Samsung Wallet app from the Galaxy Store. We’ve added a link to the app at the bottom of this article. Note that the app may not be immediately available for some users in the newly added 13 markets. But rest assured, it will show up in a few days.
“Samsung Wallet takes everyday convenience to the next level and we’ve worked closely with our trusted partners and developers to enrich our wallet experience,” said Jeanie Han, leader of the Digital Life team at Samsung. “We are focused on bringing the platform to as many markets as possible as quickly as possible, so that more Samsung Galaxy users can enjoy the benefits of the digital wallet.”

With Samsung’s Wallet app, you can store your credit and debit cards and make payments securely, just like you did with Samsung Pay. In addition, you can store membership cards, loyalty cards, vouchers and gift cards, as well as digital copies of your vaccination records, airline tickets, boarding passes, movie tickets, ID cards, health passports, cryptocurrency data and more.
As mentioned, Samsung Wallet also integrates Samsung Pass features. So you get a password manager to save your login credentials for websites and apps. In addition, you can store digital keys for your smart locks and supported cars and remotely share the keys with other family members or guests. Samsung’s Kno security platform protects all your data.
Samsung Wallet is compatible with Galaxy smartphones that support Samsung Pay and are running Android 9 Pie or higher. If your device qualifies, you can click the button below to download the latest version of the app from the Galaxy Store.
