SCAI teams up with Tahakom to develop AI infrastructure and super-computing capabilities

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia: The Saudi Company for Artificial Intelligence (SCAI), a PIF-owned company aiming to develop the artificial intelligence (AI) industry and emerging technologies in Saudi Arabia, has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with Saudi Technology and Security Comprehensive Control Company (Tahakom) signs a leading public safety and intelligent mobility technologies company. The two parties will work together to develop the AI ​​infrastructure and supercomputing capabilities required for the next generation of AI applications.

The partnership was announced today at the Global AI Summit in the presence of Eng. Ayman AlRashed, CEO of SCAI, and Eng. Nabeel Al Omar, CEO of Tahakom. Under the terms of the MoU, the companies will use their combined technical capabilities to build and implement the infrastructure required to process the vast amounts of data generated by smart cities. The collaboration aims to further foster a climate of innovation across the Kingdom’s AI ecosystem, contribute to the development of indigenous intellectual property and inspire the next generation of talented Saudi data scientists.
