Schell Games has unveiled the latest villain to join I Expect You To Die 3: Cog in the Machine at the Meta Quest Gaming Showcase. The third installment in the award-winning espionage-themed VR puzzle series is coming to Meta Quest this summer and SteamVR this fall.
Outwit your smartest opponent yet in the latest installment in this award-winning spy-themed VR puzzle series. Use new gadgets, visit action-packed locations and don custom disguises as you delve back into the world of espionage in this escape room game.
dr Prism is the name of I Expect You To Die 3: Cog in the Machine’s new villain, described as a “genius inventor with a robot obsession”. The character’s voice is voiced by Daisy Lightfoot, who may be known to fans as the actress behind Shuri in various Marvel animated series such as Marvel’s Avengers, LEGO Marvel Super Heroes: Black Panther – Trouble in Wakanda and Marvel Rising: Operation Shuri.
“We really tried to bring personality to the characters in I Expect You To Die 3 in order to enrich the gameplay experience throughout the game and immerse agents in the world of danger and espionage. “The writing combined with the incredible vocal performances from our actors hopefully create a unique experience that is even more immersive in VR,” said Jared Mason, Narrative Director for IEYTD1 and IEYTD3 and voice of The Handler. “Voicing the handler on this series is so much fun and being able to help shape the story throughout the franchise has been one of the highlights of my career. We can’t wait for new and returning agents from around the world to step into the shoes of an elite spy (or a cataclysmic spy).”
Schell Games also previewed their first-ever VR horror title, Silent Slayer: Vault of the Vampire, in the Meta Quest Gaming Showcase.
