The Tigers took care of business against a weaker opponent in Week 4, defeating New Mexico 38-0 in a game that was even more one-sided than the already-leaning result would suggest.
LSU outscored the Lobos 633-88 in an absolutely dominant performance. It was another efficient play from quarterback Jayden Daniels, who completed 83% of his passes while combining with Garrett Nussmeier to throw for 414 yards.

The ground play was equally impressive as it eclipsed 200 yards. It was something of a breakout game for Noah Cain, who had 94 yards and two touchdowns on 11 carries. Meanwhile, John Emery Jr. continued to work his way back into the rotation and had 45 yards on nine touches.
The Tigers have now won three straight games since losing to Florida State in Week 1, and fans have been thrilled to see the team continue to head in the right direction.

Friendly reminder that LSU has only lost one game this season — by a single point! โ and has dominated all the games we’ve won. Not as bad as I thought!

The more other teams play, the clearer that becomes #LSU despite the one loss, he still has his fate in his own hands. Their toughest games are both at home with Tennessee and Bama. If they can get healthy and keep improving like they did, it will be fun to watch ๐ฏ

This team beats Auburn’s brakes and then beats Tennessee. Stop sleeping on LSU๐ฏ

does lsu have it together or do we just play terrible teams?๐

Yes, I’ll be honest, the majority of the fanbase, including myself, overreacted when LSU lost to Florida State. Both teams are looking great this year, unfortunately someone had to lose tonight, but I’m glad LSU is no longer the laughing stock of the SEC.
