You need the shovel to uncover bunkers on the island

As you advance in Sons of the Forest, a first-person survival game currently in Early Access on Steam, you’ll find that you’ll need a shovel to advance in the story and uncover bunkers found on the map are hidden. Similar to other key items in Sons of the Forest, the shovel can be found in the game’s intricate cave system.
The catch? There are so many caves! Read on to find out which one to enter and how to find the shovel in Sons of the Forest.

To get the shovel in Sons of the Forest you need a few items to progress through the cave:
Rebreather air tank with rope gun

You’ll need a weapon to defend yourself against the enemies in the cave, so prepare before entering and be ready to take on multiple enemies.
How to get the shovel in Sons of the Forest

Go to the cave west of the snowy mountains near the center of the map. Three streams will cross at this point, with three bodies outside the entrance. We recommend setting up a tent outside the cave entrance in case something goes wrong inside. Enter the cave and use the rope gun to zip line into the cave. Look left to find a body of water and prepare to dive by equipping your rebreather. Dive down to find an opening in the cave floor and follow the underwater tunnel until you reach an opening. Get out of the water and go forward through the cave until you reach a part of the cave with an incline with running water. Slide down the slope to land in a pool of water and turn right to climb onto the cave floor. Enter the opening and continue through the cave system until you enter a larger room with two deceased humans. Stick to the right side of the cave to find another opening that will take you to another large cave. One of the bodies in this room will have a flashlight attachment, so make sure you grab that while you’re here. Go to the back of the cave and follow the path until you reach another underwater part of the cave. Swim forward through the underwater tunnel until you emerge on the other side. Follow the path ahead to find a body with a shovel on its lap.
