Is there a fourth season?

Sword Art Online fans have reason to celebrate as a new season of the program is coming. The name of the season is Sword Art Online Progressive and Aniplex, an animation studio, first announced it in September 2020.

The fourth season will reportedly arrive on Netflix on November 6, 2022, although there’s been no official announcement of the date. Also, it is unknown how many episodes will be included in the new season.

From July to December 2012, there were 25 episodes in the first season. From July to December 2014, the second season had 24 episodes. The third season, which ran from October 2018 to September 2020, was significantly larger, containing 47 episodes divided into three sections.

How can we anticipate Season 4 of Sword Art Online?

The Aria of Starless Night, the first volume in the progressive series, will be covered throughout the season. The main protagonists, Kirtio and Asuna, are locked into a video game for the duration of the show, and if they die there in any way, they will perish in the real world as well.
