By Tiasa Bhowal: Most of us cannot deny the fact that we spend a lot of time checking our Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter feed. These apps keep us on our toes most of the time. While social media detox is a must for most of us, this is a discussion that can be reserved for a future date. What needs to be talked about right now is Elon Musk’s weird question about Instagram and Twitter users.

Do you feel happy or depressed when browsing Instagram or Twitter? Which app do you like better? Musk posed a similar question to his followers on Twitter, and the answers were, needless to say, quite interesting. The SpaceX boss wanted to know which app is better – Twitter or Instagram.

“Instagram makes you depressed and Twitter makes you angry. Which one is better?” wrote one user.

Former American footballer TJ Moe wrote: “Twitter gives me news and keeps me updated. Instagram shows me pictures of people I don’t care about and now they’re trying to become TikTok. I use Twitter.”

Kyle Becker, CEO of Becker News, said: “Instagram is useless. Twitter is the best place for timely information.”

“Tbh social media is a reflection of ourselves. What we look at and interact with teaches algorithms who we are and shows us more about who we think we are,” wrote journalist Johnna Crider.
