To the Amesit Inc. (NASDAQ: AMST), the start of the fourth quarter is an opportunity to look back at some of its exciting news as well as the momentum it’s built in the third quarter. This includes some important partnerships with universities, institutional buyers and companies.
In August, Amesite announced that this was the case extend its partnership with Wayne State University’s College of Engineering to move their Amesite-powered platform – Warrior TechSource – to Amesite V5 Ecommerce Platform. This gives Warrior TechSource the additional capabilities of Amesite’s scalable e-commerce ecosystem to extend its streamlined and integrated course learning services to a 30,000 strong student and alumni network.
That same month, Amesite canceled the begin of the Conner Prairie Learning Portal. The Conner Prairie Portal, an Amesite Learning Community Environment® LCESM, is designed to provide teachers, parents and K-12 students with easy-to-use, collaborative courses. The package also includes Amesite’s integrated e-commerce solution, which can provide subscription-based course packages giving users access to all of Conner Prairie’s courses.
Moving Forward with Multi-Institutional Deals: NAFEO and Amesite
Other companies offer online education opportunities, including Coursera Inc. (NYSE: COUR), Powerschool Holdings Inc. (NYSE:PWSC) and 2U Inc. (NASDAQ: TWO). Among industry leaders, Amesite proudly announced several other key partnerships this quarter, enabling its platform to enable a variety of digital education experiences.
A major announcement was that of Amesite cooperation with the National Association for Equal Opportunity in Higher Education (NAFEO). The company will work with the affiliate to make its LCESM solution available to 188 historically black colleges and universities and predominantly black institutions. The ambition is impressive – NAFEO’s colleges and universities together enroll over 70,000 students and have the potential to offer professional learning to more than 7 million alumni.
Part of the collaboration will be to raise $30 million to enable access to the LCESM. Five new colleges have joined since the announcement joined The collaborative alliance of NAFEO and Amesite becomes members of NAFEO’s Center for Opportunity and Equity (COE). The COE would be able to access eLearning courses through the Amesite powered LCESM platform if the application for funding is successful.
In a recent interview, said Ann Marie Sastry, CEO of Amesite, on the importance of integrated, trusted eLearning in the future of higher education and professional skills development. As the job market cools, professionals need timely education and training to remain competitive in today’s technology-driven marketplace.
