Tourist office directors in social media promotion stunts

The directors of the tourism administration use social media to promote their provinces and regions. Some wear traditional customs, some wear a space suit – the photos are all set in stunning locations.

The stunts were well received and the directors were commended for giving everything they had. Since many other directors dressed in traditional attire, director Dorje from Ganzi County, Sichuan Province had come up with something different. One of his most famous photoshoots is in an astronaut suit in Ganzi County.

Since the directors have become Internet celebrities, the number of visitors to the advertised places has increased significantly.

However, some fear the surge could be like other internet madness that will subside fairly soon.

The rise has presented quite a challenge to Ganzi County’s infrastructure.
