Fast-growing Chinese tech brand Vivo launched its latest smartphones, the V27 5G and V27e, in South Africa this week. These additions to the V Series showcase impressive performance and camera capabilities, offering users a full smartphone experience.
The V27 5G model is a powerful smartphone with flagship-level cameras and an attractive design. Equipped with the Aura Light Portrait System, stylish color options, a high-performance 4nm chip, a 120Hz 3D curved screen and top-of-the-line cameras, it aims to deliver an exceptional user experience.
The Aura Light Portrait System enables natural night portraits with its 50MP OIS ultra-sensing rear camera, studio-grade soft lighting effect and portrait enhancement features. The device’s hybrid image stabilization (OIS + EIS) ensures smooth and stable recordings by performing stabilization calculations and movements up to 10,000 times per second. In addition, the 50MP AF selfie camera ensures an excellent selfie experience.
The V27 5G features vibrant colors and a 6.78-inch 3D curved screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and ultra-high brightness and contrast. Its slim design makes it the thinnest Vivo phone yet with a 3D curved screen.
Powered by an advanced 4nm processor, Dimensity 7200, the V27 5G seamlessly switches between apps thanks to its low power consumption and increased processing speed. It also offers expanded RAM options of up to 8GB, enhancing multitasking abilities.
To ensure longer usage, the V27 5G features 66W FlashCharge technology and an advanced cooling system, allowing users to charge to 50% in 19 minutes with the screen off. It promises twice the lifespan compared to industry standards.
The V27e boasts great camera features and striking aesthetics. With a 64MP OIS ultra-sensing camera, Aura Light Portrait feature and ultra-thin grip, it offers users a lightweight and stylish option.
The 64MP OIS Ultra-Sensing rear camera improves low-light photography with longer exposure and increased light capture. The device’s 32MP front camera captures detailed selfies, while the multi-style portrait system offers customization options.
The design of the V27e captures the vivid colors of nature: in the Lavender Purple edition with a luminous peacock feather pattern and in the Glory Black edition with a silky, glittering texture. With a 6.62-inch 2.5D screen, 120Hz refresh rate and self-developed ambient light sensors, the V27e offers a great visual experience.
Similar to the V27 5G, the V27e features the energy-efficient 66W FlashCharge technology and an advanced cooling system. Its MediaTek Helio G99 platform ensures solid and efficient performance, while the expanded RAM option of up to 8GB offers ample storage space.
