Mojang will release Minecraft 1.20 update any moment. A few days ago they announced that the new installment of the ancient sandbox game would be released on June 7th, 2023. As the day approaches, millions of players are eagerly awaiting the update. However, as with every update release, the Swedish gaming company has not revealed the exact release date.

For example, updates 1.17, 1.18 and 1.19 were all released around 15:00-17:00 GMT (20:30-22:30 IST). Therefore, it is safe to say that the Minecraft 1.20 update could be released around 16:00 GMT (21:30 IST).
Another interesting fact that further solidifies the release timing of the new update is that Mojang’s main office is located in Redmond, Washington, USA, which falls within the PST time zone. Therefore, the earliest developers enter the office is around 8:00am PST, which translates to 3:00pm GMT and 8:30pm IST.
Since players are downloading the update from all over the world and there are many time zones, they can simply take the time above and convert it to their own time zone to know when the update might arrive.
Of course, this is all speculation and we still can’t be sure when Mojang will release the update to everyone.
