Despite or perhaps because of the historically high new car prices, there seems to be really good deals for every taste. Electric vehicles have never been better, of course, but today there are also awesome hypercars, relatively affordable sports cars, a staggering variety of supercars, some awesome vans, incredible off-roaders, and more.
When it comes to sports cars, enthusiasts today are spoiled for choice that seemed impossible just a decade ago. Between the Toyota Supra, the Subaru BRZ, the Nissan Z, and not to mention America’s pony cars, there’s no shortage of fun, manually-equipped, pretty cars today.

Meanwhile, the Jeep Wrangler’s monopoly on affordable off-roading has been challenged by the Ford Bronco, and an electric challenger is coming soon in the form of VW’s Scout revival. And these are great, but they all get a lot of attention.
Today we want to hear about the unsung heroes. The vehicles that are a little less flashy than the mid-engined Corvette and a little less flashy than, for example, the BMW M2. These cars are undoubtedly wonderful, but not exactly underrated.
An unsung hero might be the Cadillac CT4-V, which gave its German competition a mighty middle finger but failed to make it onto the sales charts. It could also be the Toyota Corolla XSE, which while no longer offered with a manual and overshadowed by the GR variant, is still a cheap, fun, sensible little car.
But what do you think? What is the most underrated car on the market today?
