Who is Aaron Franklin Brink? Internet blasts Colorado shooting suspect’s dad for Intervention appearance

After Colorado shooting suspect Anderson Lee Aldrich, it’s now time for father, Aaron Franklin Brink, to be in the spotlight and on netizens’ radar.

It was revealed that the father has appeared in many adult films and reality shows divorce court and intervention in 2009. Since the revelation, users on social media have cheered for Aaron Franklin for his performances.

Aaron Franklin reportedly left the shooter’s mother when she was a toddler. It was at this point that he took up MMA and began working in adult films under the alias Delaware. The internet is now scolding Aaron Brink for showing up at his place interventionwhere his fiancé tried to get him to stop using crystal meth.

All of this came to light after Aldrich allegedly opened fire at Club Q in Colorado Springs, killing five people on November 19, 2022. The incident also injured a number of people. Aldrich now faces five counts of first-degree murder and five felonies involving assault.

It is also worth noting that Anderson Lee Aldrich identifies as non-binary and is referred to in this article using the pronouns “she/they”.

There’s been a lot of talk about Anderson Lee Aldrich, the Colorado gay club shooter. However, following the shooter’s first court visit on Wednesday, November 23, 2022, her father, Aaron Franklin, is slammed for using crystal meth. As mentioned earlier, he has also appeared in various adult shows and movies.

All of this comes after an interview with CBS 8, in which the father said he wondered if his child was gay when he found out several people were involved in a shooting at a gay bar. Franklin claimed to have been “scared” his child was gay, but when he found out it wasn’t true, he reportedly said, “Phhheww.”

He also spoke of being a conservative Republican. He said:

“My opinion on gay people is that it’s not okay. I think we should stand up against homosexuality.”

However, social media users are now highlighting the fact that Franklin was a crystal meth user who makes adult films for a living. They propose to him because he claims he would have a problem if his kid were gay.

As they continued to slam Franklin, one person pulled out the family history and said the shooter was arrested on a bomb threat while her mother is an arsonist with a DUI. The user went on to list the family’s criminal past.

Some have even started calling the father “disgusting.”

Franklin also has a criminal history, including an assault conviction against Anderson’s mother, Laura Voepel. The 2002 battery conviction in California resulted in Franklin being barred from contacting Laura. However, he later received supervised visits to the child.

That’s not all, however, as Aaron Franklin was sentenced to two and a half years in prison for importing marijuana. He also tested positive for illegal steroids, which added to his criminal record.

Aldrich, the Colorado shooter, was reportedly bullied online because of his father’s criminal record and his work in the adult film industry. This led to them changing their name from Nicholas Franklin Brink to Anderson Lee Aldrich.

According to the petition at the time, the name change was intended to “protect” her and her future from ties to her father, Aaron Franklin. Simply put, Anderson Aldrich changed her name to be unrelated to her father, Aaron Franklin.

As previously mentioned, Sagittarius identifies as non-binary and uses the pronouns she/they. El Paso District Attorney Michael Allen said Aldrich’s identity will not affect the charges, including whether the shooter will be charged with hate crimes, according to Reuters.
