Morant recently ended up in hot water again after allegedly pulling a gun during an Instagram Live. This comes after days of constant rumors of his arrest linked to his physical altercation with the teenager.

The Memphis Grizzlies franchise recently announced that Ja will be suspended for at least two games. That means fans won’t see the player feature against the LA Clippers and LA Lakers.

Ja had not responded to any of the allegations in the last few days. His attorneys reiterated that the lawsuit was an attempted shakedown after the teen’s mother allegedly demanded $20 million. However, following his suspension, Ja released a statement and apologized.

I will take some time to get help and work on learning better ways to manage stress and my overall well-being,” Ja said.

It would be easier for Grizzlies fans to know that Ja takes full responsibility for his actions following the controversy. His statement came after the NBA guard disabled his Instagram and Twitter accounts, suggesting he will most likely be away from the public eye for a while.
