The Stadium & Main collective announces the launch of its web platform http://www.StadiumandMain.org and mobile app, both designed exclusively for University of Michigan student-athletes to explore Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) Income Opportunities to be secured by companies, donors and fans alike. With a particular focus on diversity, Stadium & Main is proud to leverage women’s sport and Olympic campus sports to enable greater visibility and brand deals.
The web platform/mobile app (iOS/Android) gives Michigan fans, alumni, supporters and brands unprecedented access to Michigan athletes to book players across services. Fans can interact with their favorite athletes in unique ways by booking them for live video chats and shout-outs. Backers can subscribe to support multiple teams and engagements, receive unique benefits, and make financial contributions. Businesses and charities can hire Michigan student-athletes for marketing campaigns or to promote events. Athletes can accept or decline any proposed opportunity through the Stadium & Main mobile app.
The Stadium & Main collective is led by former Michigan running back Jamie Morris, who joins forces with other alumni to build the platform and its leadership team. Former Morris and Michigan teammate Keith Mitchell founded the NIL platform PlayBooked which powers Stadium & Main’s web/mobile app technology. James Hall, a Michigan All-American defenseman, member of the 1997 national championship team and former Detroit Lion, joined the leadership team. Also on board is Mike Amine, a 1992 Olympic wrestler, Ufer Award winner, four-year letterwinner and NCAA Michigan runner-up. Cabot J. Marks Esq., a former Michigan native, completes the executive team with seven years as a college professor and 30 years of experience in the sports marketing business with a focus on player representation, licensing and branding.
