The Xiaomi Mi Smart LED Ceiling Light (350mm) is now available in Spain and Germany. The intelligent light enables the brightness and color temperature of the lamp to be adjusted continuously. The device has a color temperature range of 2,700 to 6,000 K and up to 3,000 lumens of brightness thanks to 48 LED lamp beads.
Two preset modes are available, daylight mode and moonlight mode, and you can control the gadget via a smartphone app or voice commands. The device is compatible with Apple HomeKit, or you can control the light with voice commands from Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa. The Mi Smart LED ceiling light has a built-in Bluetooth gateway that allows you to connect to other smart home devices. For example, you could use a motion sensor to trigger the light when you enter the room.
The LEDs have 95 Ra, which makes colors appear more natural. The device measures 358 x 63 mm (~14.1 x 2.5 in) with a 26 mm (~1.0 in) bezel and light-diffusing ABS cover. Xiaomi suggests that the light is suitable for rooms from 15 to 25 m² (~161 to 269 ft²) and that it is dust-resistant, which makes cleaning easier. You can buy the Xiaomi Mi Smart LED Ceiling Light (350mm) in Spain and Germany for €79.99 (~$87). It is unclear whether the device will also be launched in other European countries.
