
Xiaomi Wireless Switch Bluetooth version launched in China. The smart home gadget can trigger many Mijia devices as long as it is connected to a compatible mesh gateway device via Bluetooth 5.0, such as the Xiao AI Speaker or the Xiaomi Multi-Mode Gateway 2. For example, you could use the button to trigger use a single light or an entire smart scene; A movie night scene might involve closing smart curtains, turning off the lights, and starting the TV.
Alternatively, you can use the Xiaomi Wireless Switch Bluetooth Version as a doorbell. You can set up three commands with click, double-click, and advanced print controls. In fast mode, the gadget has a response time of 350 ms and is said to press up to 50,000 times. The device is powered by a CR2032 battery that offers an average lifespan of two years.
The switch is 50 mm (~1.97 in) wide and 13 mm (~0.5 in) thick and has a white body with anti-yellowing properties. When placed on a table, a silicone pad helps the gadget stay in place. Or you can attach the device to the underside of a table or wall using the included 3M sticker. You can currently buy the Bluetooth version of the Xiaomi Wireless Switch in China for 39 yuan (~$5.50). It’s unclear if or when the gadget might appear in other markets.
