Yummy! Denny’s is launching a new ‘augmented reality’ menu with food that literally jumps off the page

HOUSTON – Just days after the unveiling of It’s Diner Time, a new brand platform focused on delivering dining convenience for today’s America, Denny’s announces new elements to its overall experience, including the debut of a bold, bright new one Menu that welcomes and prepares everyone Guests feel even more comfortable when they visit America’s Diner.

Denny’s has invested more than $25 million in upgrading and improving kitchen appliances to fuel the development of new and improved food offerings while increasing efficiency and reducing food waste. Touch points at the restaurant include a completely redesigned menu featuring Denny’s classics like Moons Over My Hammy and Build Your Own Burger, as well as coveted new items like Mac N’ Brisket Sizzlin’ Skillet and Oven-Baked Lasagna. Every dish on the new menu offers with every fork the delicious diner comfort that Denny’s guests crave.

The new menu also offers a custom augmented reality (AR) experience to take guests on a vivid visual tour with the turn of each page. Denny’s developed its AR menu feature to bring the brand to life through a memorable and delicious journey as part of the dining experience. A variety of interaction options, access to exclusive offers and information about the brand and its 70-year history are now available to guests with a single scan. Denny’s also unveiled new employee uniforms along with fresh new merchandise available at DinerDrip.com to further cement the brand in diner culture and meet consumers where they are.

Outside the four walls of the restaurant, Denny’s has launched a nationwide TV campaign that showcases the atmosphere and feel of a Denny’s diner while highlighting the time-consuming flavor of the new menu, which combines the past, the future and the delicious.

Two new areas are highlighted in the redesigned menu, including Diner Classics Plus to celebrate Denny’s new take on American classics after 70 years, and Savory Diners Spotlight, which focuses on nostalgic offerings enjoyed by people of all ages become. A selection of outstanding dishes are:

● NEW Red, White & Blue Pancakes – Fluffy blueberry pancakes made with real buttermilk are topped with fresh strawberries and cream cheese icing for the ultimate bite morning, lunch or night. Served with two cage-free eggs, crispy hash browns, plus two pieces of bacon or two sausages.

● NEW Spicy Moons Over My Hammy – A bold reimagining of a fan favorite featuring spicy ham, spicy chorizo ​​and scrambled eggs with Swiss and American cheeses and pickled jalapeños on perfectly grilled bread. The sandwich is served with crispy hash browns on the side.
